There are no more than the following four types of boards for wardrobes: solid wood board, ecological board, solid wood multilayer board, solid wood particle board.


1. The best choice is solid wood board


Solid wood finger-jointed board, for wardrobes, is environmentally friendly, has high load-bearing capacity, and has good nail holding power. The decorative effect is also good. It's just that the price is relatively high. But the sense of grade is also good.


Choose high-quality solid wood finger-jointed boards. Some unscrupulous merchants use inferior wood to make finger-jointed boards, which are not environmentally friendly and of poor quality.


2. Ecological board


Ecological board has facing layers on both sides and solid wood blocks in the middle. The solid wood blocks in the middle are fir or Malacca wood. Ecological board has high hardness, strong nail holding force and high environmental protection. It is a product with good quality and environmental protection for wardrobe board, but because the center of ecological board is wood, the probability of deformation is relatively high.


3. Solid wood multi-layer board


Solid wood multi-layer board has facing layers on both sides and layers of wood boards in the middle. The layers of wood boards in the middle are mixed with various woods, so its grade and price are lower than ecological board.


However, solid wood multi-layer board is made of wood layer by layer at high temperature, so the density is relatively high and the nail holding force is stronger.


4. Density board


Density board, also known as fiberboard, is an artificial board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber as raw materials, and urea-formaldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives are applied. According to their density, they are divided into high-density board, medium-density board and low-density board. Density board is soft and impact-resistant, and is also easy to reprocess. However, since the national standard for high-density board is several times lower than the international standard, the quality of density board in my country needs to be improved.


5. Plywood


It is commonly known as fine core board in the industry. It is made of three or more layers of 1mm thick veneer or thin board glued and hot-pressed. It is the most commonly used material in handmade furniture. Plywood is generally divided into six specifications: 3cm board, 5cm board, 9cm board, 12cm board, 15cm board and 18cm board (1cm refers to 1mm).


6. Decorative panel


The panel is a decorative panel with a single-sided decorative effect made by precisely planing solid wood boards into thin veneers with a thickness of about 0.2mm, using plywood as the base material and through a gluing process. It is a special form of plywood, with a thickness of 3mm. Decorative panel is currently a high-end decoration material that is different from the mixed oil method. The board is the main component of the wardrobe, and its quality directly determines the quality of the product. The wardrobe boards on the market are mainly artificial boards, and few are made of solid wood. Artificial boards are divided into plywood, particle board, and fiberboard. Among them, fiberboard is divided into high density, medium density, and low density.
